Colorectal Cancer Screening
Colorectal Cancer Screening is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States when men and women are considered separately, and the second leading cause when both sexes are combined. Screening has allowed more Colorectal Cancer Screenings to be found earlier when the disease is easier to cure.FMQAI in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to working with healthcare professionals to increase Colorectal Cancer Screening awareness and screening rates for Medicare beneficiaries.
FMQAI will assist healthcare professionals to use their electronic health record system to utilize reminders, report data, and analyze results to improve early detection and screening rates for Colorectal Cancer Screening.
