Beneficiary Complaint Response Program

As specified in ยง 1154(a)(14) of the Social Security Act, the QIO must conduct an appropriate review of all written complaints about the quality of services covered by Medicare which do not meet professionally recognized standards of health care if the complaint is filed with the QIO by an individual entitle to Medicare benefits for such services or by a person acting on the individual’s behalf.
