Florida Office of Rural Health CAH Safety Initiative

FMQAI has been contracted by the Florida Office of Rural Health to conduct a safety initiative for CAHs since 2003. The primary goal of this initiative has been to assist Florida CAHs in assessing and improving their safety practices. To date, medication safety has been the primary targeted area. Pharmacists from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy were subcontracted by FMQAI to provide pharmaceutical support to the initiative.
